COVID-19 STATEMENT OF RESPONSE
As a destination for travellers, we understand the need for each of our guests to feel comfortable during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rest assured, our priorities remain the same: The health and safety of our guests, employees and the wider community in which we live and work are of vital importance.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, West Lake Willows Resort has instituted and improved a series of stringent measures to help mitigate the spread of the virus. We continue to follow COVID-19 developments closely, ensuring full compliance with The Government of Ontario requirements.
The Resort is well-positioned to mitigate the spread of the virus. Our cottages are accessed directly from the outdoors.
FRONT OFFICE SERVICES
Our Front Office is closed. On-site Assistance is available from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily by texting or calling the office at (613) 393-3213. Emergency after hours assistance is available by texting our office line (613) 393-3213.
Our check-in procedure is now contactless. Upon arrival, please call or text us and we will confirm whether the cottage is ready for your entry or not. The cottages will be left unlocked with the key left on the dining table for you. Please familiarize yourself with the location of the cottage by viewing our Property Map.
HOUSEKEEPING
Our cottages have always been cleaned and disinfected with approved, disinfecting products that are effective in killing viruses, including COVID-19. Every member of our team has been trained for the appropriate use of these products. Additional stringent guidelines for our housekeepers have been implemented including the use of masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and frequent hand-washing. When possible, cottages will not be entered for 24-72 hours after check-out. Then, Housekeeping will enter to complete the thorough cleaning of the cottage. We clean all hard surfaces such as furniture, fixtures, remote controls, and appliances with a disinfectant, spray-on liquid cleaner. We have removed all personal use dishware: plates, bowls, cutlery, drinking glasses and coffee mugs. Please bring your own personal use dishes and drinkware from home.
