In late September and early October the most common ducks are:

• Green-Winged Teal
• Mallards
• Wood Ducks
• Canada Geese

In the middle of October the fall ducks begin to be forced south by northern weather conditions and we begin to see:

• Buffleheads
• Bluebills
• Pintails
• Northern blacks
• Larger mallards
• Larger Canada geese
